About
Today’s students need God. They don’t need lip-service. They don’t need a “turn-or-burn” message. They need hope. They need an influence. This is why we exist
What is influence?
Influence is the ministry-oriented group of Kellyville Schools, a group that focuses on bringing out the best in everyone through a relationship with God. Each week we meet and hear from one the awesome people in our Alliance, who pastor local churches across the area, or are involved in ministry in some form. And each week a student goes home with practical applications for what they’ve learned.
Where does Influence meet?
We meet in the Old Gym at Kellyville High School during lunch. Our meetings generally have anywhere from 30-60 people or more, and is limited to high school students only.
How can I get involved?
Influence is very service-oriented, and we’ll be involved in community projects throughout the year. If you’re a student, you can easily get involved with the setup/break-down of each meeting, or you can volunteer for one of our community service projects (for which you can often earn college credit!). Just let us know how you’d like to help.
If you’re an adult involved in ministry or your church wants to provide lunch for one of our meetings, let us know via the contact form and we’ll get in touch with you about the details. We appreciate your help!
